Research into the Thriller genre

Thillers are used to intise the audience and get them asking questions about what's happening during the film. this gives it a high level of excitement and anticipation, and this genre also delivers a high level of tension and anxiety. A true thriller is something which has a single goal in which it sets out to leave the audience sitting on the edge of their seats wanting more as the plot twists and turns to build up the climax of the film. Usually in these films a life is threatend because we as the audience know that the person in danger will be put into an extreme situatuion in which they have to save others and theirselves. They also have conflicted characters that have a dangerous past and who are unpredictable in the film. these following films follow these convention:
